This new initiative has already been successfully implemented for numerous orders bound for Southeast Asia and the Middle East, garnering unanimous praise from customers.

Packaging Upgrade: Three-Layer Protection Addressing Key Sea Transport Challenges

Common pain points in steel exports include moisture-induced corrosion during transit and physical damage caused by collisions during loading and unloading. To address these issues, Shandong Xinyongyuan ’s technical team—drawing upon years of export experience—has introduced the "Xinyongyuan Standard Sea Transport Packaging Solution," which incorporates a three-layer protective system:

Layer 1: Anti-Rust Treatment. Prior to bundling, all structural steel, pipes, and plates are coated with an eco-friendly, water-based anti-rust agent. Critical areas—such as pipe ends, plate edges, and cut surfaces—receive an additional application of anti-rust oil. For high-value or high-precision products, an extra layer of VCI (Vapor Corrosion Inhibitor) paper wrapping can be added.

Layer 2: Physical Protection. High-strength edge protectors are affixed to all steel strapping points to prevent surface damage (indentation) during hoisting and stacking operations. The entire bundle is then wrapped in a highly durable PE rain-proof film, with all seams sealed using waterproof tape to effectively block out seawater salt spray and rainwater.

Layer 3: Reinforcement and Labeling. The weight of each individual bundle is strictly limited to within 3 tons to facilitate easier unloading at the destination port. Each cargo unit bears warning labels—printed in both Chinese and English—displaying instructions such as "Keep Dry," "Handle with Care," and "Center of Gravity," alongside product specifications, furnace batch numbers, and customer shipping marks.
