Shandong Xinyongyuan Iron & Steel Group Co., Ltd. has successfully secured a major order from a key client in the Middle East, with a contract value exceeding US$4 million.

May 2025, Liaocheng — Shandong Xinyongyuan Iron & Steel Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Shandong Xinyongyuan") recently signed a formal long-term supply agreement with Amar Steel Industrial Group, a renowned construction company based in Saudi Arabia. Under the terms of the agreement, Shandong Xinyongyuan will supply the client with approximately 13,000 tons of hot-rolled coils, H-beams, and square and rectangular tubes over the next 12 months, with a total contract value exceeding US$4 million. This represents the largest single order Shandong Xinyongyuan has secured in the Middle East market since its inception, marking a significant milestone in the company's ongoing efforts to internationalize the "Xinyongyuan" brand.

Amar Steel Industrial Group is a leading steel structure fabricator and construction contractor in Saudi Arabia's Eastern Province. Currently involved in the construction of numerous large-scale infrastructure and industrial projects under Saudi Arabia's "Vision 2030" initiative, the Group maintains rigorous standards regarding steel material composition, dimensional tolerances, packaging, and delivery schedules. To secure this contract, Shandong Xinyongyuan's foreign trade team engaged in a six-month-long process of technical consultation and sample validation with the client. Ultimately, the company distinguished itself from a field of international competitors by leveraging the consistent quality of its "Xinyongyuan" series products—particularly in the hot-rolled coil and medium-to-heavy plate sectors—along with its flexible supply chain solutions and professional foreign trade services.

The products included in this order primarily consist of:

Hot-rolled coils (ASTM A36 / Q235B), ranging in thickness from 2.5 mm to 6.0 mm, intended for cold-forming applications and roofing systems;

H-beams (ASTM A992 Gr50), ranging in size from W8×10 to W12×22, intended for use as the main structural framework in steel-structure industrial plants;

Square and rectangular tubes (ASTM A500 Gr.B), ranging in dimensions from 50×50 mm to 150×150 mm, intended for use in support and enclosure structures.

All products will be manufactured in strict compliance with U.S. standards and will be accompanied by EN10204 3.1 material certificates and third-party inspection reports from Bureau Veritas (BV). The initial shipment—comprising approximately 2,500 tons of hot-rolled coils and H-beams—was loaded at Qingdao Port this week and is scheduled to arrive at Dammam Port in Saudi Arabia in late June.
